Ultraviolette Tesseract electric scooter details

Bengaluru-based Ultraviolette EV maker launched its first-ever electric scooter not long ago in India. The Tesseract scooter instantly received thousands of bookings, with more than 50,000 bookings in the first month itself.

Now, the scooter has crossed the 70,000 mark in customer bookings, making it an early success for the company. Speaking of the e-scooter.

It was launched at an introductory price of Rs 1.20 lakh for the initial customers, which was later raised to Rs 1.45 lakh. However, this price tag is for the most affordable 3.5 kWh battery pack variant.

The company also offers a bigger 5 kWh and a 6 kWh battery pack option, prices of which are scheduled to be revealed by the end of this year.

Meanwhile, the Tesseract electric scooter offers a very unique proposition of premium quality, performance, and segment-first advanced features. The e-scooter is equipped with features like ADAS, dashcam, wireless phone charging, and cruise control.

However, these features are listed on the official website, which we suspect are of the top-spec variant. The base model, whose price is known, will miss out on these features as suspected.

The company will reveal a detailed price list for Tesseract later this year. Additionally, the deliveries of the scooter will start from 2026.

Our verdict

Ultraviolette has established itself as a premium and solid electric vehicle manufacturer. All thanks to the F77 lineup, the EV maker is now making it global as it has opened showrooms in 10 European countries, making it the first Indian EV brand to do so.
