Mahindra Scorpio N Pickup: What do we know so far?
The upcoming Scorpio N Pickup truck test mule has been spotted in Pune recently in a single-cab version. Although the test mule is heavily camouflaged, the design bits like the ORVMs and fenders give away that it is indeed based on the Scorpio N.
The detailed shots of the front fascia show a unique test design that has dummy round headlamps and indicators sticking out of the silhouette of the car. However, the horizontal slats of the new, bigger front grille and the new bumper design differentiate it from the SUV version.
Meanwhile, the visible design bits include the steel wheels, a long flat bed, and a tail section that is inspired by the old-gen Scorpio Pickup truck, aka Getaway. Even the reflector-based taillights are identical to the old model. However, these are most likely to be dummy lights for testing purposes.
The interior design and feature details of the pickup truck are unknown yet. However, we firmly believe that it will share the dashboard, steering wheel, and infotainment with the Scorpio N SUV. Its double-cab version is likely to come as a fully-loaded model, which shall compete with the Toyota Hilux.
Powering the Scorpio N pickup truck will be the same engine options as the Scorpio N SUV. However, these might be detuned, and the gear ratios will be different to match the performance and payload requirements. A 4X4 drivetrain is likely going to be standard on it.
We assume that it will be launched in India by late 2026. The price range for it could be around Rs 15-22 lakh.
