What to expect from the MG Hector facelift?
The latest spy shots of the upcoming Hector facelift showcase that the new model is likely to get launched soon with the much-needed updates. The SUV has been present for a long time and it definitely requires an update to stay relevant amongst the pool of rivals like the Tata Harrier and the new Tata Sierra.
Speaking of the visible details, the front and rear portions of the test car have been covered. This clearly hints that the design changes will be subtle and restricted to the new bumpers, a new grille, and a new fascia. Even the lights arethe same, which means that no big change will happen in the design.
Meanwhile, the already plush and spacious cabin of the Hector will likely get the new and modern updates. These might include a new infotainment system UI with more advanced features like the new voice commands, improved wireless charging, a new console, a new steering wheel, etc.
Although these changes will not be very significant, the updates will surely make the new model more relevant to its rivals. Meanwhile, the engine specs are likely to be retained without any changes.
As far as the launch timeline is concerned, we suspect that MG might debut the updated model by mid-2026. The pricing could be hiked by a few thousand due to the new features.
