MG recently announced the new Indulge Edition of the Windsor EV to celebrate 80,000 unit sales of the EV in India since its launch. This upcoming special edition model has now leaked online days ahead of the official debut.
MG Windsor Indulge Edition: What makes it special?

The new Windsor Indulge Edition is basically a cosmetically tweaked model that packs elite features and a polished look that adds to its luxury factor. On the outside, the big change is the new special edition ‘Shadow Gold’ paint that is matched to the contrasting black roof and mirrors, along with the 18-inch black alloy wheels. Additionally, it features ‘Indulge’ badges on the rear quarter glass, which distinguishes it further from the standard model.
Meanwhile, the interior theme of the Indulge Edition has been upgraded with the new Urban Tan and Black dual-tone leather upholstery. The new dual-tone theme is used on the seats, dashboard, and door panels, turning the special edition into a luxurious version. The most interesting addition is a roof-mounted rear passenger entertainment screen. This screen is likely to feature wireless connectivity, and it could also offer OTT platform support and other such entertainment features. JSW MG calls this screen ‘Prive Screen’.

With that said, the Windsor Indulge Edition is most likely to retain its battery specifications from the standard version, which includes a 38 kWh and a 52.9 kWh option. These battery packs offer 332 km and 449 km of range, respectively. However, both battery packs are paired with a single, front-axle-mounted electric motor that is rated to produce 136 bhp and 200 Nm.
With the new Windsor Indulge Edition, JSW MG is likely to attract more buyers ahead of the festive season. We suspect that the Indulge Edition could be priced around the range-topping variants of the standard Windsor EV.
