Upcoming SUV gets stuck at Rohtang Pass, what is it?
As seen in an online video, the unknown SUV test mule is seen being rescued from the snow by the administration. The completely camouflaged SUV test mule is towed from the rear by a Maruti Gypsy, while getting steered by an official.
While there are no details posted regarding the car, it looks like a Renault. How? A close look at the rear gives strong Renault-like vibes, which also mimic the new-gen Duster’s rear profile.
The test car has a squared-off rear design with an integrated roof spoiler, a chunky bumper, and a vertical tailgate with an inclined rear windshield. Meanwhile, the front fender and the sharp headlight design are also visible in the side shots.
The overall boxy shape resembles that of a Renault car. Clarifying this further are the temporary number plates that bear TN or Tamil Nadu registration. TC plates are usually seen on the Nissan or Renault test cars, as both companies operate from Chennai.
However, seeing the photos closely, it certainly looks like a sub-4 meter model, and it also does not have an AWD. If it is an upcoming model, we believe that its details, including the brand, design, etc, will surface in the coming months.
