Zelo Electric launches Zelo Knight+ at INR 59,999

Key highlights

  • Knight+ priced at INR 59,999 (ex-showroom), offers 100 km real-world range and 55 km/h top speed
  • Segment-first features include Hill Hold Control, Cruise Control, and Follow-Me-Home Headlamps
  • Available in six colour options; deliveries begin August 20, 2025

Zelo Electric has launched its newest electric scooter, the Knight+, at an introductory price of INR 59,999, making it India’s most affordable feature-packed EV in the high-speed category. Designed for everyday Indian riders, Knight+ blends practicality, performance, and premium features in a package that’s hard to ignore.

The scooter is powered by a 1.8kWh portable LFP battery, offering a 100 km real-world range and thermal safety. It’s paired with a 1.5kW motor that delivers a top speed of 55 km/h, making it suitable for both city commutes and semi-urban stretches.

Features

Knight+ doesn’t just come with the basics—it brings segment-first features usually reserved for pricier EVs:

  • Hill Hold Control: Prevents rollback on slopes
  • Cruise Control: Maintains steady speed on longer rides
  • Follow-Me-Home Headlamps: Stays lit briefly after parking
  • USB Charging Port: Keeps your gadgets powered on the go
  • Portable Battery: Removable and easy to charge anywhere

Safety is handled by drum brakes at both ends, and the scooter rides on a clean, angular silhouette with a raked front apron and LED indicators.

Colour Options and Booking Details

Knight+ is available in six colours:

  • Single-tone: Glossy White, Glossy Black
  • Dual-tone: Matte Blue & White, Matte Red & White, Matte Yellow & White, Matte Grey & White

Pre-bookings are now open at all Zelo Electric dealerships, and deliveries begin August 20, 2025.

Our thoughts

The Knight+ is a smart move. It’s priced like an entry-level scooter but packed like a mid-range one. The Hill Hold and Cruise Control are genuinely useful, not just brochure fillers. If Zelo throws in a free helmet and a fast charger, it would be the best INR 60k you can spend on two wheels.
