2026 Audi Q3: Everything we know so far

2026 Audi Q3

The third-generation Q3 will offer a completely redesigned styling compared to the previous generation. It is already sold in the international market, and we can safely say that the Indian-spec model will look almost the same as the global model.

On the outside, the new-gen Q3 shares the styling cues with the new-gen Q5 and the recently unveiled Q9. The fascia gets a big and wide grille with sleek LED daytime running lights, vertical LED headlights with Matrix technology, and a sculpted bumper with a mesh lower grille and black highlights.

The side profile of the new Q3 features a sporty rear quarter design. The conventional elements like the roof rails and door handles mix well with the dual-tone alloys. However, it is the rear design that looks strikingly different, with the sleek LED taillights, an LED light bar, an illuminated Audi logo, and a raked windshield with a roof-integrated spoiler.

On the inside, the new Q3 gets a driver-focused cabin with the dual-connected screen setup, a new four-spoke steering wheel with a column-mounted gearshift lever, an optional passenger screen, leather upholstery with soft-touch materials, and features like wireless charging pads, ambient lighting, dual-zone climate control, Level 2 ADAS, drive and traction modes, and more.

2026 Audi Q3 Interior

While the global-spec Q3 comes with a wide range of engine options, the Indian-spec model will most likely get the 2.0-litre TSI engine. This engine makes 188 bhp and 320 Nm, while being paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch auto gearbox and Quattro AWD.

Audi will also launch a Sportback avatar of the Q3, which essentially is the same car but with a sloping roofline. While its design will attract young buyers, it will compromise on rear headroom.

The official launch is scheduled for August 25, and we believe that the new-gen Q3 will be positioned around Rs 55-60 lakh. Its main competitors include the Mercedes-Benz GLA and the BMW X1.
