Bajaj has launched the updated 2026 Pulsar 150 in India. The latest update for the iconic Pulsar nameplate brings with it a new design, new features, a reworked chassis, and updated hardware.
2026 Bajaj Pulsar 150: Everything to know before buying it
The new Pulsar 150 is now available pan-India at Rs 1.15 lakh (ex-showroom), as an introductory price. It is being offered in three variants (SD Single Seat, TD Single Seat, and TD Split Seat), with the price going up to Rs 1.23 lakh (ex-showroom) for the top variant.
Engine specs and hardware changes
The first update is the heart of the Pulsar 150. Although same as the outgoing version, the 149.5cc single-cylinder air/oil-cooled engine now makes 13.7 bhp of peak power at 8,000 rpm, which is 500 rpm less than before. Moreover, the peak torque has gone up by 0.9 Nm, which now stands at 14.1 Nm. Bajaj claims that 80 percent of the peak torque is generated at 3,000 rpm.
The second major change is the new 5-speed gearbox. This has been reworked to offer better low-speed traction, requiring fewer gear shifts. Additionally, the new model comes with an ISG or Integrated Starter Generator motor, which assists in low-end power delivery and fuel economy. Bajaj has also reworked the chassis. It now features a diamond-type frame with the engine as a stress member to offer lightweight agility and improved stiffness.
Last but not least, the rear suspension has been upgraded with a new gas-charged monoshock unit. The exhaust design is also new, which helps improve the riding agility. It still rides on 17-inch alloy wheels, and the braking duties are also handled by the same 260 mm (front) and 230 mm (rear) disc brakes.
Styling and feature updates
On the new Pulsar 150, Bajaj has also added a new LED headlight with a new cowl and flyscreen. The bike also features the new dual-tone colours inspired by the first-generation Pulsar model. Moreover, it comes with a new 5-inch TFT console with Bluetooth connectivity and three ride modes: Rain, Road, and Sport.
The new Pulsar 150 also gets CrawlTech, which assists with low-speed throttle control. This feature reduces fatigue in the city. The range-topping variants feature Wifi support and Google Maps navigation, along with the new Type-C USB charging ports. The rear design now features a sleek tail section with the split LED taillights.
