2026 Ducati Multistrada V4 Rally: What is new?
The new Multistrada V4 Rally is here, and it has become even more interesting and lucrative than ever. The BMW GS 1300 R’s rival now gets engine updates, mechanical upgrades, and new colours.
The first change is the 1,158cc engine with the extended rear-cylinder deactivation. This 167.6 bhp V4 powerplant now offers better response at lower rpms, enhanced fuel economy, and fewer emissions. Moreover, the Quick Shift 2.0 has also added that it offers microswitch-free gear shifts, which means shorter and smoother gear shifts.
Another major highlight is the new Adaptive Ducatio Skyhook Suspension (DSS) EVO. This new adaptive suspension automatically lowers the bike at speeds below 10 kph to enhance easy riding. Meanwhile, the 200 mm suspension travel now gets dynamic damping, which the rider can change on the go without altering the Ride Mode.
Ducati has further enhanced the safety of the bike by adding a Front Collision Warning alert. Moreover, the rear brake is now 280 mm in size, and it also gets the rear-front coordination revamp, where the front brake comes into action, even if the rear brake is used.
On the features front, it now gets the new cornering lights for improved visibility. The windscreen is now taller, offering better air flow over the rider. Meanwhile, the heated grips now get 5 levels, while the centre stand has been reworked for easy deployment. Ducati has also repositioned the pannier mounts to offer more legroom for the pillion. The seats have also been reshaped for better comfort.
Visually, the bike now gets new colours: Ducati Red with Brushed Aluminium and black spoke wheels, and Jade Green with Brushed Aluminium with golden spoke wheels.
