Hero has also enriched the new Xtreme 160R 4V with a long list of smart features like ride-by-wire technology, three ride modes (rain, road, sport), and cruise control as standard equipment. Moreover, Hero has added the Panic Brake Alert feature that alerts the surrounding environment when the rider applies the emergency brakes.
Other major upgrades include a new coloured TFT instrument console that displays a gear indicator, speedometer, tachometer, turn-by-turn navigation, SMS/call alerts, real-time fuel economy, etc. New customers will also appreciate the illuminated switchgear on the handlebar, a Type-C USB charging port, and adjustable clutch and brake levers.

Powering the new Xtreme 160R 4V is the same 163cc oil-cooled engine as before. However, Hero has shifted its service interval and tappet adjustment interval to 6,000 km. This will offer more peace of mind to the new users.
