What changes does the 2026 Honda City facelift get?
The new leaked photos of the upcoming City facelift show a black colour model closely. Interestingly, the black colour looks even more sporty and cool compared to the white colour car, which was leaked earlier.
The front fascia of the new City has undergone a massive update. It features a set of new connected LED lights with a sharp wraparound design, accentuated by the new sleek front bumper and a sharper grille finished in piano black colour and honeycomb pattern.
The side profile of the City facelift is nearly unaltered, save for the new set of dual-tone alloy wheels and new mirrors with the 360-degree camera setup. Meanwhile, the rear profile now gets the clear lens LED taillights and a new sporty bumper to match its overall sharp design.
On the inside, it gets its inspiration from the Elevate, as it now packs a bigger, floating infotainment screen, a new HVAC panel with ventilated front seat controls, wireless charging, a new digital console, a 360-degree camera, and the lane-watch assist system.
Mechanically, we expect no changes to the car. It will continue using the 1.5-litre petrol engine and the 1.5-litre e:HEV or hybrid engine options. However, it is possible that Honda has retuned its suspension and steering setup for better ride quality and handling.
The new City facelift will be officially launched on May 22 in India. We believe that it will be positioned above the current model.
