What to expect from the 2026 Hyundai Verna facelift?
Ever since Hyundai launched the current Verna, its sales have been modest. One of the primary reasons is its polarising design and the lack of segment-leading features.
However, this will soon change as the updated facelift model is on its way to India. The recently spotted test car of the Verna facelift shows that it will get a redesigned front fascia and a new rear profile.
While the overall silhouette of the car is unchanged, we can clearly spot the redesigned bumper, new LED headlight positioning, and the low-slung front profile. Similarly, the rear profile gets a redesigned bumper and the new LED-connected taillights.
The side profile of the test car looks similar to the current car, but we suspect that it will get new alloy wheels and new ORVMs with the 360-degree feature.
On the inside, the previous spy shots have revealed that it will come equipped with a new dashboard that has a new dual connected screen setup and a new three-spoke steering wheel. The updated Verna facelift will add more features as well, probably similar to the top-spec of the new-gen Venue.
Being a facelift means it will not get any mechanical changes. Hyundai will continue offering the 1.5-litre NA petrol and the 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine options paired with the 6-speed MT and the 7-speed DCT gearbox.
The expected launch timeline for the Verna facelift is by mid-2026 in India. It will undergo a slight price revision due to the new feature additions.
