2026 Maruti Brezza facelift: What do we know so far?
The latest spy shots of the upcoming facelift of the Brezza C-SUV have surfaced from Delhi-NCR during an internal emission testing. The white coloured test car is seen with tailpipe emission testing equipment, along with the upcoming updates to the exterior.
The biggest talking point about the Brezza facelift is the new petrol engine. Maruti is most likely to update the C-SUV with a new petrol engine that will be smaller than the 1,200cc, so that the brand can take the tax bracket benefit as per the new GST rules.
Online rumours hint that this new engine could either be a 1.2-litre naturally-aspirated four-cylinder petrol motor or a 1.0-litre three-cylinder turbo petrol motor. The previous spy images have already revealed a new 6-speed manual gearbox, which solidifies the fact that it could be the new 1.0-litre turbo unit.
The test car also has the “Mild-Hybrid” badge, which confirms the fact that it will continue to feature the 48V hybrid system, which is already present on the current model.
The front fascia of the test car is loaded with a Victoris-like bumper, a new grille, and repositioned LED foglights. The headlamps look more or less the same as the current model, but the overall design looks mature.
Meanwhile, the side profile is largely unchanged, save for the new R16 dual-tone alloy wheels. We can also spot the rear disc brakes, which would be a big upgrade for the upcoming owners.
The rear design is also mostly unaltered, except for the new rear bumper. The size and dimensions are also likely to be unchanged on the new model.
On the inside, we can expect the new feature additions, including the leather upholstery, a new cabin theme, electric seat adjustment with ventilation for the front seats, wireless charging with cooling, and more updates.
