2026 Renault Duster: What to expect?
The next-gen Duster continues testing around Chennai, as Renault readies it for the big Indian debut next year. The latest spy images show the new dashboard with a triple screen layout, something seen on the one-segment above models like the Mahindra XEV 9e.
The new-gen Duster went on sale earlier this year in select global markets, including Europe. It is slated to debut in India in 2026 with a new design, modern interiors, and new engine options, including a strong hybrid as well.
Internationally, the new Duster is loaded with a rugged body design, Y-shaped DRLs, LED lights, big body claddings, rugged bumpers, and dual-tone alloys. The Indian-spec model will also carry the same changes, including the rugged appeal and a comfortable ride quality.
On the inside, it will feature a digital console, a new flat-bottom steering wheel, leather upholstery, wireless features, panoramic sunroof, and a triple screen setup, preferably on the top-spec trims only.
Powering the Duster will be a 1.3-litre petrol engine. Initially, this turbo unit will take the baton in India, while the strong hybrid and 4×4 options are likely to be added in the future.
As of now, the exact timeline for the launch is unknown, but we assume that Renault will introduce it before the next fiscal year begins. The estimated pricing of the new-gen Duster will be in the range of Rs 11-18 lakh.
