Skoda has announced the commencement of production of the upcoming Slavia facelifted model. The new Slavia will be launched in the coming weeks, and it will offer mild cosmetic changes, new features, and a new automatic gearbox.
2026 Skoda Slavia facelift: Everything to know
The new Slavia facelift has undergone a mild makeover for 2026. Skoda has redesigned its fascia with a new grille that features vertical slats, a new set of LED headlights, and a redesigned front bumper with new foglight housing.
The side profile is retained from the current model, with the new dual-tone alloy wheels being the only change. Sadly, you will not get the ADAS module on the new Slaiva. Skoda says that its current platform is not suitable for ADAS.
The rear profile now gets the new ‘Skoda’ lettering on the boot, new LED taillights, and a slightly redesigned bumper. Overall, the facelifted model retains its silhouette from the outgoing version.
On the inside, there are a number of meaningful upgrades. The first being the new digital driver cockpit that seems to be carried forward from the Kodiaq. The central touchscreen has been kept unchanged in size, but it features a completely new UI with features like wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Skoda has also added more convenience features like wireless charging, front seats with ventilation, electric adjustment for the driver seat, etc.
Under the bonnet, the new Slavia continues to feature the same 1.0 TSI and 1.5 TSI engine options. The only upgrade is the new 8-speed torque converter automatic gearbox that replaces the outgoing 6-speed torque converter gearbox on the 1.0 TSI engine. Although both of these are sourced from AISIN, the 8-speed adds better efficiency and performance.
Skoda is set to reveal the price of the new Slavia facelift later next month. We believe it will be positioned slightly higher than the current model.
