After a staggering launch of the new-gen Sierra, Tata Motors is readying the Punch facelift for the Indian market. The upcoming model has been spied testing again near Pune, revealing interesting new details.

2026 Tata Punch facelift: Everything we know so far
The Punch facelift test car spotted near Pune shows that it will get a major design overhaul. While its silhouette will remain largely unchanged, the front fascia will get a new bonnet, a new bumper and grille, and new projector LED headlamps that look identical to the Nexon and Harrier.
Meanwhile, the ORVMs have grown bigger in size and get the 360-degree cameras, while the alloy wheels are now new and dual-tone, as suspected. The rear profile is also expected to get a new boot, a new set of LED taillights, and a revised bumper.
Another interesting detail visible in the spy images is the presence of a radar-based ADAS safety suite. The new Punch facelift will become the most affordable car in India to offer ADAS safety, as expected.
Although the cabin details are unknown, earlier spy shots have partially shown a new dashboard with a digital console, a bigger infotainment screen, and a new two-spoke steering wheel. Tata is also expected to add new features to it, including wireless charging, ambient lights, and more.
Mechanically, the Punch facelift is expected to remain unchanged. It will continue to be offered with a 1.2-litre petrol, a 1.2-litre CNG, and an all-electric powertrain option. The expected launch timeline of the Punch facelift is by the first quarter of 2026. Its prices are expected to be slightly hiked due to the new features.
