The all-new Ducati Multistrada V4 S Grand Tour has broken cover in the European market. The new model is essentially the V4 S, but it gets a revised livery, bodywork, new electronics, and factory-fitted touring accessories, which make it suitable for long touring.
While it is due to arrive in the Asian market by April 2027, the V4 S Grand Tour packs a host of changes. To begin with, it gets an exclusive livery that will be available in the European market. We believe that the Indian market will also likely get the same.
Moreover, it comes with a comprehensive suite of customisation options from the factory itself. It shares the 1,158cc V4 engine with the V4 S, and there have been no changes made to its peak power or torque outputs, which stand at 170 bhp and 123.8 Nm, respectively. The chassis and suspension are also similar to the V4 S standard model.
It features the front and rear radar system, which is offered as an accessory on the V4 S. The factory-fitted 60-litre side panniers are a boon for long touring, and these are painted in the same livery as the bike. Ducati has also added comfort features like the heated grips and heated seats as standard, alongside a hands-free fuel cap lid and a centre stand.
Interesting features include the automatic lowering suspension. This system lowers the bike by 30 mm while being ridden below 10 km/h. The lowering helps with easy manoeuvring in the city. The bike retains its original stance above 50 km/h; this feature works automatically.
With these changes, the V4 S Grand Tour certainly offers a better touring experience. However, it is likely to be priced steeply, as the standard V4 S is priced at Rs 31.23 lakh (ex-showroom) in India.
