2025 TVS Apache RTR 200 4V – New changes explained
Celebrating the completion of 20 successful years of the Apache brand in India, the Chennai-based manufacturer has updated the Apache RTR 200 4V. The 2025 iteration gets three new colours and a new USD fork setup at the front.
The new colours include: Glossy Black, Matte Black, and Granite Grey. Moreover, the alloy wheels are now painted in a sporty red colour, thus providing a more aggressive outlook.
Additionally, the handlebar of the new model has been made from hydroformed material, which adds to better stability and fewer vibrations for the rider.
Powering the new model is an OBD-2B-compliant 199cc, single-cylinder, air/oil-cooled engine, which develops 20.51 bhp of peak power and 17.25 Nm of peak torque. In addition to the engine update, the front suspension now features 37mm wide USD forks, which further enhance the handling and ride quality.
Meanwhile, the features list includes LED lights, a TFT console with Bluetooth connectivity, TVS Smart Xonnect features, adjustable clutch/brake levers, slip/assist clutch, dual-channel ABS, and three ride modes: Urban, Sport, and Rain.
With that said, there are no further changes to the motorcycle. Mind you, the Apache RTR 200 4V has been present in the market for quite some time now, and it is due for a thorough update to its styling and engineering.
Our verdict
With the new updates, TVS has stretched the lifespan of the old-looking Apache RTR 200 4V. The new colours provide it a sense of refreshment, while the USD forks promise improved handling and performance.
