Royal Enfield Himalayan 750: Things we know

The newly revealed Himalayan 750 boasts a completely new design. While the technical details like the chassis and construction will be revealed tomorrow at the official debut, the 750 departs from the sleeker design of the 450.
The Himalayan 750 will be positioned as the new flagship model, and it will be a more road-focused tourer bike than the outright off-road machine. Interestingly, the tail section has been kept reminiscent of the Himalayan 450, but the front now packs a new LED headlight, an adjustable windscreen, and a new side fairing.
It rides on a 19-inch front and a 17-inch rear wheel setup with tubeless rims and tyres. There will be options to choose from alloy wheels and cross-spoke tubeless rims. Meanwhile, it gets fully adjustable Showa USD forks and a fully adjustable rear monoshock with a remote adjuster.
Royal Enfield has also loaded it with a host of new electronics. The bike now gets an updated TFT console with in-built navigation, traction control, cruise control, engine immobiliser, 5 ride modes, switchable ABS, and lean-sensitive ABS. The switchgear is also new, with individual buttons for TCS, ride modes, and cruise control.
Another interesting addition is the new twin-disc brake setup at the front wheel. This will likely improve the braking and offer better control. Meanwhile, powering the Himalayan 450 is going to be the all-new engine.
The details of this engine will be revealed at the EICMA event tomorrow, but we suspect that it will be a 743cc parallel-twin, oil-cooled unit, offering around 55 bhp and 65 Nm. Royal Enfield will also offer a quickshifter and a slip-assist clutch as standard.
The Himalayan 750 will be revealed in India at Motoverse 2026 later this month in Goa. Its price is likely to be announced in the following weeks. We anticipate that it will be positioned around Rs 4.5 lakh.
