2025 Volkswagen Taigun facelift: What to expect?
The upcoming Taigun facelift is likely to bring the much-awaited changes to Volkswagen’s only compact SUV in India. The test mule spotted recently showcases that it will get a refreshed design and new features.
While the front and rear of the test car are camouflaged, the visible changes include a new, bigger front grille, new bumpers, new LED lights, and a new rear design with an expected illuminated VW logo.
As it will be a mid-life facelift, the dimensions of the SUV are likely to remain unchanged. However, it will have new alloy wheels, which shall be offered in black and brushed aluminium contrasts, depending on the variants.
As per the reports online, the interiors are also expected to get a makeover with a new dashboard, a bigger digital console, and a new infotainment screen. The layout of the dashboard is also likely to be upgraded.
Volkswagen is also expected to add new features to the Taigun facelift. One of these is the Level 2 ADAS, which is also visible in the new spy images.
With that said, the mechanical setup is likely to remain unaltered. VW Tagiun facelift will be offered with the 1.0 TSI and the 1.5 TSI engine options mated to manual and automatic gearboxes.
The expected launch timeline of the Taigun facelift is by the end of this year. Pricing will be slightly higher than the current model due to the new features and udpates.
