Honda WN7 electric bike: Everything you need to know
After releasing the teaser images of the concept model, Honda has finally taken the cover off its latest, most powerful electric performance motorcycle, the WN7. The new WN7 is destined to hit the European roads by next year.
It is based on an all-new platform that has been specifically designed to accommodate the liquid-cooled 18 kW electric motor, which Honda claims has power and performance outputs equivalent to a 600cc performance bike. However, the specification details have not been unveiled.
But, we do know that it gets a riding range of up to 130 km on a single charge. Additionally, it can be charged 20-80% in 30 minutes, which adds to its practicality factor. A 6 kVA home charger can charge it from zero to full in three hours.
The overall design is a mix of retro with the round bar-end mirrors, but with a touch of modernity with its aerodynamic front and side design. In terms of features, it gets loaded with LED lights, a 5-inch TFT digital console, RoadSync integration, ride modes, and more.
Speaking of its launch, Honda has scheduled to take it on sale in Europe by next year at a price tag of approximately Rs 15.50 lakh (GBP 12,999). Later, the WN7 EV will be introduced in the other markets. Its India launch is still uncertain.
