The all-new Trident 800 is based on a reworked platform of the Trident 660. However, still focuses on the neo-retro charm as it gets equipped with a sculpted fuel tank, a round headlight, a floating tail section, and a big bellypan.

The new Trident 800 will be available in three colours in the UK: Jet Black, Carnival Red with Graphite, and Ash Grey with Diablo Red. The deliveries of the first batch are scheduled to commence in March 2026 in the UK.

The Trident 800 uses the Tiger Sport 800-sourced 798cc triple-cylinder engine. This unit produces 115 bhp and 85 Nm, which is further mated to a slick 6-speed gearbox with a slipper-assist clutch and a bi-directional quickshifter. Triumph has revised the air intake box to fetch 4 Nm more torque than the Tiger Sport 800.

It is suspended on Showa adjustable shocks and a monoshock at the rear. Braking duties are covered by a set of 310 mm disc rotors on the front and at the rear. It gets the Brembo four-piston brake calipers for good bite.

The bike comes equipped with a six-axis IMU that enables it with wheelie control, launch control, cornering ABS, and three ride modes (Road, Sport, and Rain). To ease riding fatigue, it comes loaded with a cruise control, Bluetooth connectivity for SMS/call alerts, turn-by-turn navigation, and more.

The launch price of the Trident 800 in the UK is approximately Rs 10.72 lakh. We suspect that Triumph will introduce the new roadster in India as well, but not before 2026-end.
