2026 MV Agusta Brutale 800: Everything you need to know
The Italian premium bike manufacturer, MV Agusta, is at it again. The brand has reintroduced the Brutale nameplate worldwide with the launch of the MY26 Brutale 800. The new motorcycle features the aggressive design cues of an MV Agusta bike and comes draped in an exclusive Rosso Ago Opaco (Red Matt) colour option only.
It is based on a ‘high-performance’ steel trellis frame that is suspended over 43 mm Marzocchi USD front forks and a preload-adjustable rear monoshock. The completely adjustable suspension is further supported by the Brembo M4.32 calipers that are bolted to dual 320mm front disc rotors and a 220mm rear disc rotor.
Powering the Brutale 800 is an all-new 798cc, inline-three cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that makes 113 bhp and 85 Nm of peak power and torque. It is paired with a 6-speed transmission and a slipper-assist clutch with a bi-directional quickshifter.
MV Agusta has equipped the Brutale 800 with a 5.5-inch TFT console with Bluetooth connectivity and a six-axis IMU that further offers cornering ABS, wheelie control, engine brake control, stoppie control, cornering traction control, and cruise control. It also gets four riding modes – Race, Rain, Sport, and Custom.
Other smart features include cornering headlights, anti-theft system, geolocation and emergency SMS functions.
