Tata Motors has released the first trailer teaser of its upcoming SUV, the Sierra. The new-generation Sierra will launch in India on November 25, marking the return of the iconic nameplate. Check its details below.

What to expect from the Tata Sierra?
The new-gen Sierra is based on an all-new generation 2 platform, and is going to be positioned between the Harrier and Safari. Although it will have a distinctive character and design, which will set it apart from its siblings.
The teaser video shows a yellow colour car that has black contrasts, making for a staggering road presence. The overall silhouette is boxy and mimics the old-gen Sierra. It also has an identical rear quarter glass design like the old model.
The front shape seen in the video shows a sharp, connected LED DRL with a textured grille and vertical headlights and a silver garnish on the lower half of the bumper. On the side, it features a clean body line with flush door handles and a connected B- and C-pillar via a piano black outlook.
The production-spec Sierra looks to be using dual-tone 19-inch alloy wheels featuring an all-new design. The rear design is far cleaner with a single, sharp LED-connected lightbar and an upright tailgate with a roof-mounted spoiler and a rugged bumper design.
Modern features
The new-gen Sierra will come as a fully loaded SUV. We have already seen the spy shots of the interiors, showing a new, triple-screen digital display with new UI, a four-spoke steering wheel, and Level 2 ADAS features.
Alongside the new screens and a spacious cabin, it will offer a dual-tone leather treatment, comfortable seats with folding rear seats. However, the Sierra will be offered as a 5-seater model only.
Engine and specs of the Tata Sierra
A big milestone that Tata will achieve with the Sierra is the introduction of the new 1.5-litre TGDI turbo petrol engine. This engine is likely to offer 170 bhp and 350 Nm of power and torque, and it will be paired with 6-speed MT and 6-speed AT gearbox options.
Interestingly, this engine is going to power the Harrier and Safari in the future as well. However, its tuning will differ. Meanwhile, Tata will also offer the 2.0-litre turbo diesel on the Sierra.
An electric Sierra is also planned, and it will launch in 2026, only after the ICE variants. The official launch of the Sierra ICE variants will take place on November 25. We are expecting the launch price tag around Rs 25 lakh.
