Ducati India has launched the 2025 Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak, and it’s not here to play nice. This is Ducati’s most performance-focused adventure sport tourer yet, blending track-level precision with long-distance comfort. Born from the brand’s racing heritage, the new Pikes Peak is built to dominate mountain passes, twisty roads, and everything in between.
Powertrain
The bike is powered by the 1,158 cc V4 Granturismo engine, which churns out 170 hp at 10,750 rpm and 123.8 Nm of torque at 9,000 rpm. It’s Euro5+ compliant and E20 fuel-ready, with extended cylinder deactivation tech to improve efficiency during low-speed rides.
Design and Ergonomics
The Pikes Peak gets a single-sided swingarm, 17-inch forged wheels, and a MotoGP-inspired livery that screams performance. Ducati has added carbon fibre panels, a low smoked windscreen, and an Akrapovič titanium silencer to complete the look.
Ergonomics are tuned for aggressive riding. The footpegs are higher and rear-set, the handlebars are lower and narrower, and the seat features the V4 logo with Ducati Corse branding. It’s sporty without sacrificing comfort.
Suspension and Chassis
The bike uses Öhlins Smart EC 2.0 suspension, which adapts in real-time based on riding style. The aluminium monocoque frame has a revised steering head angle and recalibrated trail and wheelbase for sharper handling. Ducati has also raised the swingarm pivot by 1 mm to enhance anti-squat behavior.
Braking is handled by Brembo Stylema monobloc calipers with 330 mm front discs and a new 280 mm rear disc. The setup promises serious stopping power, whether you’re touring or tearing up twisties.
Electronics and Safety
- The Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak is loaded with tech:
- Ducati Vehicle Observer (DVO) simulates 70 sensors for smarter control
- Adaptive Cruise Control, Blind Spot Detection, and Forward Collision Warning
- Ducati Traction Control, Wheelie Control, Slide Control, and Power Launch
- Race eCBS, Quick Shift, Engine Brake Control, and Cornering Lights
- 6.5-inch TFT display with updated UI and independent suspension mode control
Riders can choose from five riding modes, Race, Sport, Touring, Urban, and Wet each customizable to suit terrain and mood.
