Tata Sierra unveiled: Everything you need to know
Tata has unveiled the new-gen Sierra officially. The brand has showcased the exteriors and interiors of the car ahead of officially unveiling, revealing the details about its features, engine specs, and price.
The new Sierra is expected to be officially launched next week. Before its price and details are revealed, Tata dealerships have also commenced unofficial bookings.
Speaking of the details, the new Sierra mimics the iconic design language of the old-gen model. It gets a boxy design language with streamlined panels and an upright fascia.
On the outside, it is loaded with the new connected LED lights with vertical projector headlights, flush door handles, 19-inch machine-cut alloys, and a blacked-out rear quarter panel that looks similar to the single pane window of the old model.
On the inside, it gets a new triple screen layout, a stepped dashboard, a four-spoke steering wheel, new seats with adjustable under-thigh support, a full-length panoramic sunroof, and features like an electronic tailgate, wireless charging, ADAS, memory seats, and a 12-speaker JBL sound system.
Powering the new-gen model are likely to be the 2.0-litre turbo diesel engine, a new 1.5-litre naturally-aspirated petrol engine, and a new 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine. All of these engine options shall be offered with the manual and automatic transmissions.
The official price announcement and details unveiling are expected to take place in the next 10 days. We are expecting it to be positioned above the Harrier SUV in the Tata lineup.
