Mini is all set to introduce the convertible version of the Cooper S in India. The company has begun the pre-bookings for the upcoming topless car.

Mini Cooper S Convertible: Everything you need to know
The new Cooper S Convertible will soon be launched in India. It is based on the standard Cooper S model, but features a convertible soft-top roof that can open or close within 18 seconds. Moreover, the roof can be operated at up to 30 km/h.
In terms of the design, the Cooper S Convertible features the identical silhouette as the standard car. The front is equipped with the trademark oval LED headlights and a streamlined bumper with a split grille.
The side profile gets the new 17-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, while it continues to get the iconic oblong LED taillights with a slightly revised rear bumper.
On the inside, it has the same interiors as the hard-top variant. The key highlights are the use of recyclable materials and the big 9.4-inch circular OLED display that supports wireless connectivity. It also gets features like electric seats with ventilation, wireless charging, ambient lights, level 2 ADAS, augmented reality HUD, and more.
The convertible Cooper S is powered by the 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine, making 204 bhp and 300 Nm. It is mated to a 7-speed DCT automatic gearbox and can do a 0-100 km/h sprint in 6.9 seconds.
The expected launch price of the Cooper S Convertible is Rs 50 lakh.
