Tesla Centre Gurugram: Everything you need to know
The newly inaugurated Tesla Centre has become the brand’s first-ever all-in-one shop-stop in India. The new centre has been inaugurated in Orchid Business Park, Gurugram, Haryana, and it offers various services, including sales, charging, test drives, and more.
With its launch, the new Gurugram centre has become the third experience centre after Mumbai and Delhi, which offers additional services as well. As per the details, this centre is equipped with the V4 superchargers that existing customers can use to charge their Model Y, while the new customers can experience the Model Y in-depth and also take it for a spin.
Tesla launched in India in July this year, and the brand has been slowly progressing towards expansion in India. The experience centres are likely to be a key part of the expansion and branding part, as Tesla is already in hefty competition from Chinese brands like BYD.
Speaking of its only EV on sale, the Model Y, Tesla offers it at Rs 59.89 lakh in two variants, including the Rear-Wheel Drive and Long Range Rear-Wheel Drive. The Long Range version offers a WLTP-claimed range of 600 km and does 0-100 kph in just 5.6 seconds.
The autonomous self-driving tech feature is an option for the Indian market, and it costs Rs 6 lakh additional to the variant chosen.
