What to expect from the next-gen Renault Duster?
Renault is already selling the latest generation Duster in the international markets, and the Indian-spec model is also likely to look the same. As seen in the latest spy shots, the test mule has the same Y-shaped LED DRLs and the polygonal LED headlights.
The overall silhouette of the new Duster is unique, as it gets polygonal highlights on the side claddings, taillights, and on the front fascia. With that said, Renault has not forgotten to keep the butch and rugged appeal of the Duster intact in its outlook.
On the inside, the new-gen Duster features a practical and spacious design, as it gets a drive-centric dashboard layout with the Y-shaped AC vents, a three-spoke steering wheel, and a big infotainment screen. Renault has not followed the market trend of equipping the new-gen Duster with connected screens, and therefore, it looks even more subtle.
In fact, the new Duster does not even get a sunroof option internationally. This makes it a perfect no-nonsense SUV for people who want to purchase a potent AWD SUV in the segment. Some notable features of the new-gen Duster include the digital console, auto AC, wireless charging, electric seats, rear AC vents, Level 2 ADAS, and more.
Powering the new-gen Duster in the international market are the hybrid and mild-hybrid engine options. The Indian-spec model will most likely debut with the pure petrol and mild-hybrid petrol engine options, with AWD to be offered as an option on the latter.
Renault has scheduled the launch of the new Duster in India on January 26, 2026. Upon launch, it will compete with the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, and the newly launched Tata Sierra. We expect the pricing of the new Duster to revolve around Rs 10-18 lakh.
