Key highlights
- Skoda Auto India crosses 5 lakh cumulative sales in its 25th year
- November 2025 sales touch 5,491 units, marking 90% year-on-year growth
- Strong demand across sedans and SUVs fuels the brand’s best-ever year in India
Skoda Auto India has wrapped up November 2025 with a major milestone. The company has crossed 5 lakh units sold since its debut in India, and the timing couldn’t be more poetic. In its silver jubilee year, Skoda has not only expanded its reach across India but also delivered one of its strongest sales runs in years.
Sales growth
The brand recorded 5,491 units in November 2025, which translates to a sharp 90 percent year-on-year growth compared to the same month last year. This continues a steady trend: Skoda had already achieved its highest-ever sales in the first ten months of 2025, thanks to strong demand and better showroom accessibility.
New touchpoints
Ashish Gupta, Brand Director at Skoda Auto India, attributes the momentum to the company’s expanding dealer network and its product lineup. With over 320 touchpoints across 180 cities, Skoda has spread its footprint deeper into high-volume markets. The company’s ownership packages have also made premium segments more accessible, helping customers see long-term value in the brand.
Sedans add to the count
The sedan story still plays a strong role in Skoda’s India narrative. The Octavia, one of the longest-running nameplates in the country, returned with the RS variant in the brand’s anniversary year and sold out instantly. Its newer sibling, the Slavia, continues to draw interest in both 1.0 TSI and 1.5 TSI versions, helping Skoda retain its long-standing sedan credibility.
Kylaq leads the way
On the SUV side, the brand has something for almost every type of buyer. The Kodiaq remains a popular luxury 4×4 pick, while the Kushaq built on the MQB-A0-IN platform has proven its worth with its strong build and full five-star Global NCAP rating. The latest entrant, the Kylaq, reinforces the brand’s safety-first approach with its Bharat NCAP five-star score for both adult and child occupants.
With such a wide price spread, from INR 7.5 lakh to INR 45.9 lakh, Skoda has positioned itself to attract everyone from first-time buyers to premium family shoppers. And with new launches and updates planned for the coming year, this growth curve doesn’t look like it’s slowing anytime soon.
