Citroen has begun the road testing phase of its upcoming eC3 facelift model. The new car was recently seen in the top-spec trim during a test run. Check out its complete details below.

What to expect from the upcoming Citroen eC3 facelift?
The upcoming eC3 facelift was recently spotted in the traffic of Bengaluru. It happens to be Citroen’s only electric car in India currently, and it seems that the poor sales have pushed the French brand to give the eC3 a makeover.
While the eC3 is sold in the global market as well, this facelift is likely a Euro-spec model. The reason is its low-profile dual-tone alloy wheels. Although the design of the wheels looks upmarket in every way, we hope that these will make it to the Indian market as well.
The other changes include the new tri-LED DRL setup along with a new front grille that has been hidden under camouflage, while the bumper has also been redesigned. The test car seems to be a top variant as it is finished in a beautiful red and black colour combination and gets the complete loadings like the fog lights, rear defogger, a roof-integrated spoiler, etc.
Assuming that the interiors will also follow a similar way of subtle updates, the new eC3 will possibly get a bigger infotainment screen, a new digital console, and improved wireless connectivity.
Powering the current eC3 are two battery packs, a 30 kWh and a 44 kWh. The maximum range on offer is 320 km, and we suspect that the mechanical setup is likely to remain unaltered.
While there is no detail available regarding its launch timeline, it looks like the test car is already nearing the production phase. If so, we could possibly receive the updated model in the early 2026 with a slight price revision.
