What to expect from the upcoming MG Majestor?
MG displayed the Majestor pre-production prototype at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025. However, the brand did hint back then that it would launch the Majestor as its new flagship SUV positioned above the Gloster.
Interestingly, the production-guise Majestor has been spied multiple times, with the latest spotting surfacing from a parking lot. The white-black dual-tone colour combination and the red TC plates verify that it is all set to be launched.
Going by the dimensions we had witnessed at the expo, the Majestor will be a bigger SUV than the Gloster. In fact, the brand will sell both SUVs, with the Majestor positioned as a luxury SUV with more features.
Underneath the new body panels and the new fascia, the Majestor will share the same platform as the Gloster. Even the engine specifications are likely to be the same. On the inside, it is expected to offer a luxurious cabin with a seamless design and rich leather upholstery options.
Speaking of its launch timeline, JSW MG India will introduce it possibly by mid-2026. Considering that it will be placed above the Gloster, its expected price range will be Rs 45-50 lakh, as it will compete with the Toyota Fortuner Legender.
