What to expect from the Nissan Gravite?
Recently, Nissan announced that it will launch three models in India. The first of these three is the Gravite MPV, which is essentially a rebadged Renault Triber. This upcoming MPV is scheduled to be launched in January 2026.
The latest spy shots of the Gravite test car reveal that it will feature a streamlined design language, which will bring it in line with the upcoming models like the Tekton SUV. The test car can be seen with the sleek LED DRLs, a smiling fascia with horizontal slats in the grille, and new headlights.
The overall design silhouette of the Gravite is similar to the Trbier, but it does feature a different rear shape with sleek LED taillights and a slightly reworked tailgate with a new bumper. The side profile looks uncanny, but it has the new alloy wheels to set it apart from the Triber.
Unlike the exteriors, the interiors will be largely similar to the Triber. Mind you, the Triber facelift was launched not long ago, and it now comes loaded with features like wireless charging, digital console, etc. We expect the same features on the top-spec Gravite as well.
Powering the Gravite MPV is going to be the 1.0-litre, three-cylinder, naturally-aspirated petrol engine that will come mated to a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT gearbox.
The expected price of the Gravite MPV will be a few thousand higher than the current Renault Triber.
