Yamaha Fascino 125 Fi Hybrid and RayZR Hybrid recall details
The latest recall of the Fascino and RayZR Hybrid models is due to a front brake-related issue reported on a large scale. Yamaha has announced that a total of 3,06,635 units of both models have been affected due to this issue.
As per the details, the front brake calliper might show limited function in certain riding conditions. This may lead to accidents, thus compromising safety. The affected models are reported to have manufactured from 2 May 2024 to 3 September 2025.
While this issue has been reported on a limited number of scooters, Yamaha has announced that it will replace the front brake callipers on all affected models without any cost. The dealerships are already connecting with the respective owners of these models to ensure that the recall is completed successfully.
The current owners can visit the India Yamaha Motor website, go to the Maintenance tab, click on ‘Voluntary Recall Campaign’ and enter their scooter’s chassis number in the ‘Scooter 125’ section to check if their scooter is affected by the recall or not.
