What is special about the new Kawasaki Stockman?
The Stockman motorcycle has been specifically designed for farmers and ranchers. It is based on the KLX230, but it features design and ergonomic changes for a reliable and easy use in the farmlands.
Starting with the changes, it comes with a new, wider handlebar design that is equipped with the big aluminium guards on both ends. These guards are designed to prevent damage from the bushes, fences, or the motorcycle dropping on the ground. Additionally, it features a clutch lever locking mechanism, which keeps the clutch engaged while riding slowly or stopping repeatedly during farm work.
Meanwhile, it is also equipped with heavy-duty front and rear luggage carriers, which offer practicality to carry farm stuff and tools to repair the fences or provide feed to animals. Powering the Stockman is the same 233cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine as the KLX230. It offers 18.7 bhp power and 19.9 Nm torque. It is paired with a 6-speed gearbox, and its lightweight build offers a peppy performance for farmland operations.
The Stockman motorcycle is suspended on the block-pattern 21-inch front and 18-inch rear tyres. These are wrapped around the tube-type spoke wheels, providing durability. The suspension duties are done by 37 mm telescopic front forks and a monoshock setup at the rear.
