What to expect from the Ducati Desmo450 MX?
Ducati India has released the first teaser of the Desmo450 MX motocross motorcycle on its social media handles. The Desmo450 MX made its global debut in 2025, and it packs a lightweight body with a powerful engine for dirt and flat-track racing.
It is based on a twin-spar aluminium frame that is held by the completely adjustable Showa suspensions on both ends, offering 300 mm travel on the front and 301 mm travel at the rear. The minimalistic body panels and a small fuel tank are supported by a single seat.
Powering this track-only model is a powerful 449.6cc single-cylinder Desmodromic valve system engine. This powerplant offers 64 bhp and 53.5 Nm of power and torque, which is paired to a slick 5-speed gearbox.
With that said, it rides on the 21-inch front and a 19-inch rear spoke rims with Pirelli Scorpion MX32 off-road tyres. Braking duties are covered by a 260 mm front and a 240 mm rear disc rotors with Brembo calipers.
