Renault is in full swing to change its product portfolio globally and in India as well. The French carmaker will unveil a new, rugged B-SUV tomorrow, which is dubbed the ‘Mini Duster’. Read more about it below.

What to expect from the Renault Bridger SUV?
The new Renault Bridger will be a B-segment SUV, which will be positioned against cars like the upcoming Mahindra Vision S. The company has already teased it, showing the rugged, boxy design that looks Defender-esque.
Speaking of the details known so far, it is codenamed RB3-K2 internally, and it is being marketed as ‘Mini Duster’. The Bridger SUV will be based on the new R-GMP platform, which will house a variety of powertrains, including petrol, hybrid, CNG, and electric versions.
While the details regarding the engine and gearbox are scarce at the moment, online reports hint that it will be introduced with the new 1.2-litre petrol engine options, including a turbocharged version as well. Since it will be positioned in the B-segment, it will not have an AWD variant.
The whole concept of the Bridger SUV is to offer a more affordable and rugged-looking SUV to buyers who can not afford the mid-size SUVs. With that said, online rumours also hint at an electric version, which is expected to be offered with 55 kWh and 35 kWh packs.
Renault will start the production of the Bridger SUV next year, and it is expected to be launched around the Diwali 2027 festival. Our expectation is that it will be priced around Rs 8-14 lakh. Renault will sell it alongside the Kiger compact SUV in India.
