KTM India boosts rider confidence with new 4 year warranty on road bikes

Key highlights

  • KTM introduces a 4 year warranty across its road bike lineup in India
  • The extended warranty applies to popular models like the KTM 390 Duke and KTM RC 390
  • Track-only and dirt-bikes are not covered under the new scheme

KTM has announced a significant update for buyers in India. The company will now offer a 4 year warranty on all its road bikes sold in the country.

This move extends coverage across KTM’s street and fully faired motorcycle lineup. It includes popular machines such as the KTM 390 Duke, KTM RC 390, the smaller as well as higher capacity Duke and RC models. The extended coverage applies only to the MY25 models, the previous models will continue to get the standard 2-year warranty.

A stronger ownership promise

Extended warranty programs have become an important factor for buyers today. Motorcycles are getting more advanced and more powerful. That also means riders want peace of mind after the purchase.

The coverage applies to all KTM road bikes sold in India through the official dealer network. This includes the brand’s naked streetfighters and its RC series of fully faired sport bikes.

The warranty is transferable to the next owner as the warranty is on the bikes itself and not the tied to the first owner.

Competition in the segment is heating up

The premium motorcycle segment in India has become increasingly competitive. Brands like TVS Motor Company and Royal Enfield are constantly expanding their product portfolios. International brands are also strengthening their presence.

In such a market, ownership benefits can influence buying decisions just as much as performance figures.

A longer warranty signals confidence from the manufacturer. It also gives customers one more reason to choose KTM over rivals.

A practical move for the Indian market

Indian riders are passionate about performance motorcycles. But they also expect reliability and strong after sales support. KTM’s extended warranty strikes a good balance between excitement and reassurance.

And let’s be honest. KTM bikes are meant to be ridden enthusiastically. A warranty that supports that spirit is always welcome.
