The upcoming 0 Alpha e-SUV’s road testing has been flagged off by Honda officials recently. Based on an all-new platform, the 0 Alpha will launch in India in 2027 as the first EV offering of the brand.

The camouflaged test mule was flagged off to test through the diverse driving conditions of the Indian roads, including city traffic, highways, and changing terrain and weather. The upcoming 0 Alpha e-SUV test car will help in tuning the production car to offer the best ride and handling comfort.

The 0 Alpha boasts a unique design that has minimal curves and streamlined panels. The front fascia gets LED DRLs and a vertical design with an aerodynamic bumper. However, the talking point is the rear design that has a U-shaped connected light setup and a vertical windscreen, which stands out from the conventional SUV styling.

The 0 Alpha will be manufactured at Tapukara, Rajasthan-based production facility, with an investment of Rs 1,200 crore. Honda will export the 0 Alpha from India to the other countries, including Japan.
