Qatar MotoGP shifted to November 2026 – Here’s why
The latest MotoGP announcement has created confusion and frustration among the fans who had booked the online tickets for the upcoming Qatar GP this year. The authorities have shifted the Qatar MotoGP to November 8, 2026, due to the ongoing conflict between the US-Israel and Iran, which is directly affecting the resources like airports and more in the Middle East.
After a long consideration and evaluation of the current safety hazards, FIM and MotoGP has taken this decision, and it has also allowed the ticket holders to shift their dates by visiting the official website. Moreover, this shift has also changed the dates of the two other races.
The Valencia GP has now been shifted to 29 November, 2026, while the Portugese GP has been shifted to 22 November, 2026. The rest of the 2026 race calendar remains unaltered. MotoGP CEO Carmela Ezpeleta also confirmed that this decision was taken after a thorough decision with the local partners across the paddock.
