2026 Kia Seltos Bharat NCAP crash test details
The all-new Seltos has been tested thoroughly for safety by Bharat NCAP. The new SUV has managed to score a 5-star overall rating, thus proving its safety quotient against rivals like the Tata Sierra.
Speaking of the details, the new Seltos scored 31.70/32 points in adult occupant safety tests and 45/49 points in child occupant safety tests. In the frontal offset barrier crash tests, the Seltos scored 15.70/16 points, and 16/16 points in the side movable deformable barrier test, resulting in achieving high safety for the occupants across various tests.
In terms of child occupancy, the new Seltos scored 24/24 points in dynamic testing, 12/12 in CRS installation, and 9/13 in vehicle overall assessment.
Speaking of the tested car, the mule used was a 1.5-litre diesel AT version, and BNCAP states that these ratings are valid for most variants of the Seltos. The 2026 Seltos has undergone a generational change recently, and it comes with 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, traction control, ISOFIX seats, and more safety features as standard.
