Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z latest price details
The latest price revision of the Pulsar NS400Z naked sportsbike has made it more affordable than ever before. The bike has become cheaper by Rs 14,000, and its new ex-showroom price starts at Rs 1.80 lakh (ex-showroom). With the latest price revision, the Pulsar NS400Z has become the most affordable bike in the segment.
Mind you, Bajaj has been absorbing the price hike for months after the new GST 2.0 tax slabs came into effect last year. As per the new GST rules, all two-wheelers above 350cc are subjected to 40% tax. This was earlier limited to 28%, which has resulted in steep price hike across brands.
However, Bajaj fought back and tried to retain the prices for as long as possible so that the customers did not get affected. After taking its sweet time, the company decided to reduce the 399cc to a 349cc unit. This was done by shortening the stroke from 60 mm to 56.1 mm. As a result, the Pulsar NS400Z now develops 40 bhp and 33.2 Nm.
Apart from the downsized engine and reduced price, the Pulsar NS400Z remains unaltered. Bajaj claims that the new price cut will lead to a total saving of up to Rs 24,500 (on-road) as compared to the previous price.
