What to expect from the 2026 Skoda Slavia facelift?
The new Slavia facelift will be the first-ever update for the mid-size sedan. The recently spotted test mule shows that it will feature mild cosmetic updates, similar to the new Kushaq.
The updated front fascia will get a new set of sleek LED headlamps, a new grille with vertical slats and an embedded segmented LED strip, and a new bumper design with repositioned foglights.
While the side profile will remain as it is, save for the new alloy wheels, the rear will feature a redesigned bumper and new LED taillights with a sleek design. With these changes on the outside, the car will remain unaltered in size and dimensions.
Moving inside, the cabin is likely to feature an updated dashboard with a bigger 10-inch infotainment screen, a new digital console similar to the 2026 Kushaq, and a redesigned centre console area with features like wireless charging, ventilated front seats with electric adjustment, and more.
However, the facelift will not include the ADAS safety, which remains a major miss on the Kushaq and Slavia duo due to the incompatibility of the current platform with the ADAS module.
Mechanically, it will remain as it is, save for the introduction of the new 8-speed AISIN-sourced torque converter gearbox, which will replace the 6-speed AT on the 1.0 TSI variants. Meanwhile, the 1.5 TSI variants will continue to be offered with the 7-speed DSG gearbox.
The updated Slavia facelift is expected to be launched in India later this year. With the new features and improved design, its prices are likely to be hiked.
