Triumph has launched the new special edition limited-run version of the Speed Twin 1200, called the Cafe Racer Edition. It is based on the standard Speed Twin 1200 RS, but its special cosmetic tweaks position it above the standard model.

Triumph has priced the Speed Twin 1200 Cafe Racer Edition at Rs 17.99 lakh, which is Rs 1.21 lakh higher than the standard Speed Twin 1200 RS. In terms of changes, it packs a clip-on handlebar, golden USD forks, a quilted leather seat, a taillight cowl, aluminium-finish alloy wheels, a special dual-tone paint that offers a mix of British Racing Green and Silver, and a paint-matched headlight cowl.

Triumph has limited the Cafe Racer Edition to only 800 units globally. The brand has not revealed the exact number of these bikes allotted for the Indian market.

Powering it is the same engine as the RS. It packs a 1,200cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled motor that develops 103.5 bhp and 112 Nm. It is paired with a 6-speed transmission. In terms of features, it packs a digital instrument console, Bluetooth connectivity, navigation support, traction control, ride modes, a dual-channel ABS, and more.
