Triumph 400 prices are expected to go up from June 1, and if you have been sitting on the fence, you now have a reason to act.
A Mumbai-based Triumph dealership has shared on social media that prices across the 350cc Triumph 400 lineup will increase by Rs 5,000 to Rs 10,000 from June 1. Triumph India has not officially confirmed this yet, but dealer-level communications ahead of price changes are usually reliable.
The context
In early April 2026, Triumph introduced 350cc versions of its 400 range. The smaller displacement allowed the bikes to fall into the 18 percent GST bracket, down from 28 percent for engines above 350cc. This brought meaningful price cuts to several models. The Scrambler 400 and Thruxton 400 dropped by around Rs 10,000 to Rs 11,000. The Speed T4 held its price. The Speed 400 saw a modest reduction.
The price hike from June 1 appears to partially reverse those savings. If it materialises, some models could end up near the prices they were at when they had the original 399cc engine.
Who gets hit the most
The entry-level models, the Speed T4 and Speed 400, are expected to see a smaller increase of around Rs 5,000. The higher-spec Scrambler 400, Scrambler 400 XC, and Thruxton 400 are expected to bear the larger hike of up to Rs 10,000.
Here is where the range currently stands, before the June 1 revision.
