Hero MotoCorp has announced its first discount on the newly introduced Flex Fuel bikes that include the Splendor+ and HF Deluxe. Both commuter bikes were recently introduced with an E85-compliant engine and revised graphics.
The brand has announced a Rs 4,000 discount for both models. After discount, the ex-showroom price of the Splendor+ Flex Fuel is Rs 78,710, while the HF Deluxe Flex Fuel is now priced at Rs 68,792.
The reduced price is believed to attract more buyers and increase more awareness among customers about the E85-compliant flex fuel technology. Recently, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari also announced the removal of restrictions on the E100 fuel, which has cleared the path for flex fuel vehicles in India.
Mind you, both Splendor+ and HF Deluxe were launched in their Flex Fuel avatars a few days ago. Both bikes are powered by the same 97.2cc single-cylinder engine that can run on up to E85 ethanol-blended fuel grade. This engine makes 8.4 bhp and 8.3 Nm on both bikes, and it is paired to a 4-speed gearbox.
