2026 Royal Enfield Classic 350 gets slipper clutch and USB Type-C charger

Key highlights

  • Royal Enfield has updated the 2026 Classic 350
  • Now gets an assist and slipper clutch as standard on dual-channel ABS variants
  • Receives a new USB Type-C fast charging port

Royal Enfield has introduced the 2026 Classic 350 in India with two new rider-focused updates aimed at improving everyday usability.  The latest updates are available on all dual-channel ABS variants, with prices starting at Rs 1.87 lakh (ex-showroom).

What’s new?

The biggest addition is the assist and slipper clutch, which is designed to reduce clutch effort and make the motorcycle easier to ride, particularly in city traffic.

It also helps deliver smoother downshifts by reducing rear-wheel hop during aggressive gear changes, making the riding experience more relaxed on both urban roads and highways.

Another welcome addition is a USB Type-C fast charging port, allowing riders to charge smartphones and other compatible devices while on the move.

No mechanical changes

The 2026 Classic 350 continues to be powered by Royal Enfield’s proven 349cc J-series single-cylinder engine.

The engine retains its relaxed power delivery and strong low-end torque, characteristics that have made the Classic 350 one of Royal Enfield’s best-selling motorcycles.

Design remains unchanged

Apart from the new convenience features, the Classic 350 continues with its signature retro styling.

Highlights include:

  • Classic teardrop fuel tank
  • Chrome detailing (variant dependent)
  • Upright riding posture
  • Timeless silhouette
  • Nine colour options

Royal Enfield says the latest updates have been added without altering the motorcycle’s traditional character.

The updated Classic 350 is available immediately across all authorised Royal Enfield dealerships. The new features are offered on all dual-channel ABS variants, while the motorcycle continues to be available in nine colourways.

The Classic 350 has never been about chasing outright performance. Instead, its appeal lies in its effortless riding experience and timeless design. The addition of an assist and slipper clutch makes daily commuting less tiring, while the USB Type-C charger is a practical feature that many riders will appreciate on longer journeys.
