2026 Maruti Brezza facelift: Everything we know so far
At first glance, the Brezza facelift might not look much updated, but there are a lot of changes that will certainly transform it into a better compact SUV than ever before. The black-coloured car was revealed in a video that seems to have been captured at a dealership yard. On the outside, the front gets a new grille with chrome horizontal plating, a new bumper with a revised lower grille, new silver accents on the bumper, and vertical housing for the LED foglights.
The side and rear profile are almost unaltered, but the new Brezza now gets the new dual-tone alloy wheels with brushed aluminium highlights. Moving on to the inside, the 2026 Brezza facelift now packs a whole lot of new features, including the Victoris-sourced 10.1-inch floating infotainment screen, wireless charging pad, front ventilated seats, and a new steering wheel with flat-bottom design.
However, the biggest change that customers will get on the new Brezza is its new turbo petrol engine option. Sourced from the Maruti Fronx, the 1.0-litre, three-cylinder, Boosterjet petrol engine will be offered alongside the 1.5-litre four-cylinder naturally-aspirated petrol engine. The Boosterjet makes 110 bhp and 170 Nm, and it will be offered with a 6-speed manual gearbox only.
Customers willing to buy the automatic transmission will have to buy the 1.5-litre engine. Moreover, the 1.5-litre CNG engine will also be offered, but with an underbody CNG tank similar to the Victoris. This will offer completely usable boot space to the CNG buyers that the current CNG Brezza do not offer.
Maruti will reveal the new Brezza facelift on July 24. Stay tuned to get every exclusive piece of information about it with shifting-gears.
