Honda CB350RS to get new colour options

Key highlights

  • Honda CB350RS gets new colour options
  • Part of Honda India’s 10-product portfolio expansion
  • No mechanical changes announced

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India is giving the CB350RS a fresh lease of life with new colour options. The modern classic is among three existing Honda motorcycles that will receive new colours as part of the company’s major 10-product portfolio expansion in India.

The CB350RS will be joined by the CB350 and CB350C, with all three models continuing to form the core of Honda’s modern classic lineup. The new colours are expected to add some freshness to the range while retaining the motorcycles’ retro-inspired appeal.

No mechanical changes announced

Honda has not announced any mechanical or feature updates for the CB350RS as part of this update. The motorcycle will continue get the 348 cc engine that produces 21 PS of power and 30 Nm of peak torque. The engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox.

The company has also not revealed the new colour options or announced the pricing and launch timeline for the refreshed CB350RS.

Part of Honda’s 10-product India expansion

The updated CB350RS is part of Honda’s much larger product offensive in India. The company has unveiled 10 motorcycles and scooters, including seven all-new models and three refreshed models.

The wider lineup includes the ADV 160, CB500, Rebel 300, Rebel 500, XR 300L, XR 300 Rally and QC3 electric scooter. Honda says the portfolio has been created to address a wider range of customer requirements, from daily commuting and leisure riding to adventure touring and electric mobility.

Honda will introduce the new products in a phased manner, with detailed launch timelines, pricing and availability to be announced closer to their respective launches.

Our thoughts

The CB350RS may not be receiving a major update, but a fresh set of colours is a welcome change. The modern-classic segment is increasingly about personality, and for many buyers, the colour of the motorcycle is just as important as the engine under the tank.
