BYD announces festive offers with benefits on select EVs

Key highlights

  • BYD’s festive offers start from August 2026
  • Benefits include charging coupons, two-year maintenance and warranty coverage up to 2 lakh km
  • Finance schemes start at 7.77% interest

The festive season is usually a good time to buy a new car, and BYD India is hoping to make its electric cars a little more tempting. The company has announced its ‘Celebrate Your Dreams with BYD’ campaign, offering a range of ownership benefits on select models and variants from August 2026.

The company has been steadily expanding its presence in India’s premium EV space, but electric car buyers still have a few extra things to think about before signing the cheque. Charging infrastructure, maintenance and long-term ownership costs are all part of that equation.

What do BYD’s festive offers include?

Customers buying eligible BYD models can get charging coupons on select variants, along with a complimentary two-year maintenance package. The company is also offering extended warranty coverage of up to 2,00,000 km.

There is a finance scheme as well, with interest rates starting at 7.77%. Customers purchasing eligible vehicles will also receive a BYD festive gift hamper.

BYD hasn’t announced one single benefit applicable to its entire range. The offers are available on select models and variants, and the exact benefits can vary depending on the city, dealership and availability. So, buyers will need to check the details with their nearest BYD outlet.

BYD is expanding its footprint

The festive campaign comes as BYD continues to grow in India. The company says it has now crossed 15,000 customers in the country and has a network of 49 showrooms across 40 cities. Its Indian portfolio includes the Atto 3, Seal, Sealion 7, eMAX 7 and e6.

The company has also brought its DM-i plug-in hybrid technology to India, giving customers another option beyond a conventional EV. Its Blade Battery technology remains another key part of the brand’s India proposition.
